Are you comfortable with you?

Who likes to eat alone?

 Let’s be honest, its Friday night and your alone again sitting on your sofa trying to decide what to do? You could go to the movies, but wants to laugh alone?

Maybe you could go to your favorite restaurant for dessert, but the waiter will say loudly, “Table for one!” As you walk down the aisle to the table set for one in the back of the restaurant you try to convince yourself of all the reasons you should have stayed at home.

You breathe, its okay!

 Eventually you come to grasp with the fact that it’s okay to sit at a table for one!

Jesus loved his alone time and often went away from his disciples to pray and talk to the Father. Are you too busy filling your life with others that you are missing the beautiful moments that are found in God’s presence.?

Take some time this week, set a date and go away with the lover of your soul. Prepare just as if you would if you were going on a real date and enjoy your time in his presence. Some of the best moments I’ve experienced with Jesus was when He had my undivided attention. Put away your cell phone and lavish the moments. Let’s get away!
